1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to EMEROLDEN. These Terms and Conditions of Sale (Terms) apply to all EMEROLDEN product purchases (including made-to-order items) made in-store or via our website.
In these Terms, "we," "our," "us," and "EMEROLDEN" refer to EMEROLDEN INTERNATIONAL TRADING LTD.
You" and "your" refer to you, the EMEROLDEN customer or prospective customer.

3. Placing an order
EMEROLDEN reserves the right to accept or reject any order, in whole or in part. A binding contract is formed when EMEROLDEN accepts your payment and issues a Sales Order. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
4. Made-to-Order Items
Made-to-order items are clearly marked on their product pages.

Changes & Cancellations: Changes to made-to-order items are possible within one week of order placement, subject to feasibility and potential price/lead time adjustments. While we will try to accommodate changes, this is not always guaranteed. Due to their custom nature (based on size, color, and finish), made-to-order items cannot be cancelled after 48 hours; cancellations after this period incur a 50% charge.

Variations: Due to their bespoke nature, final products may vary in color, weave, design, pattern match, or size from samples. We are not responsible for these variations. Velvet, in particular, can appear to change color at different angles due to its pile; we recommend ordering swatches and testing them in various lighting conditions before purchasing. Swatch delivery times may vary.

Delivery & Access: Before ordering, please ensure adequate property access for delivery (e.g., stairways, doorways). Contact our support team for assistance with a pre-measuring guide service if needed. Made-to-order items will ship within the timeframe stated on the product page; you will receive a dispatch confirmation. Dispatch dates are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case we will contact you. Our shipping partner will also provide delivery details.

Shipping & Packaging: Only relevant delivery options will be offered at checkout. Deliveries outside the UK are made to the nearest accessible point of your residence and do not include assembly. Orders arrive boxed; we are not responsible for packaging disposal. For detailed delivery information by region, please see our Delivery page.

Damaged/Defective Items: If your made-to-order item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately for a replacement.
5. Trade program
We welcome applications from interior designers, decorators, architects, contractors, business owners, landscape designers, and professional stagers working with residential or commercial clients. Apply easily online.
Trade program members receive a 25% discount on full-price items. This discount cannot be combined with other offers or applied to sale items, gift cards, vintage, art, or third-party products on the EMEROLDEN website.
For business-to-business purchases of EMEROLDEN products for your commercial premises, please complete the online form [link here] to discuss your project requirements with a member of our team. We will contact you using your preferred method.
6. Delivery in Parts
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to make partial deliveries of any order at no additional cost to you. If we do not deliver all Products in your order simultaneously, this does not invalidate these Terms concerning those partial deliveries. However, if you request or cause EMEROLDEN to make partial deliveries of your Products, you will be charged the full delivery charge for each separate delivery.

9.3 When we are liable for damage to your property while providing services on your property, we will make good any damage to your property caused by us while doing so. However, we are not responsible for the cost of repairing any pre-existing faults or damage to your property that we discover while providing the services.
9.4 To the full extent permitted by law, where EMEROLDEN’s liability cannot be excluded, the maximum aggregate liability of EMEROLDEN for any breach of a condition, guarantee, or warranty, whether implied by law or otherwise, is limited to, at EMEROLDEN’s option:

The replacement of the Products;

The repair of the Products;

The payment of the cost of replacing the Products or acquiring equivalent products

The payment of the cost of having the Products repaired.
9.5 In circumstances where EMEROLDEN’s liability cannot be limited to the matters set out in the paragraph above, the maximum aggregate liability of EMEROLDEN for any breach of a condition, guarantee, or warranty, whether implied by law or otherwise, is limited to the amount payable by you to EMEROLDEN in respect of the Product giving rise to the liability.
9.6 The Products are intended for use in the United Kingdom only. EMEROLDEN does not warrant that the Products will comply with the laws, regulations, or standards that may be applicable outside the United Kingdom. If you export any Product outside of the United Kingdom, or if we deliver any Product outside of the United Kingdom at your request, you are solely responsible for complying with applicable local laws, regulations, and standards. You agree to indemnify EMEROLDEN for all loss (including any special, indirect, or consequential loss), liability, or damage of any nature caused to EMEROLDEN and arising in connection with that export.

By participating in the EMEROLDEN marketing text messaging service, you agree to these terms and conditions and to the EMEROLDEN online Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
11. Customer Service Text Messaging
EMEROLDEN offers its customers mobile alerts about in-store pickup of online orders by SMS message, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system (the "Service"). By participating in the Service, you agree to the terms and conditions in this section and to the broader EMEROLDEN online Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
12. Signing Up and Opting-In to the Service
Enrollment in the Service requires you to provide your mobile phone number and agree to these terms and conditions related to the Service (the "Mobile Service Terms"). Please only provide your own mobile phone number. You may not enroll if you are under 18 years old. Before the Service starts, you will need to verify the mobile phone number you provided by responding to a text message confirming your opt-in and agreement to these Mobile Service Terms. Note that by confirming this message, you acknowledge that order notices will be sent to the number you provide, and whoever has access to that phone or the carrier account may be able to see this information.
13. Messages You May Receive
Once you confirm your opt-in to the Service, you will receive alerts for your online delivery and in-store pickup orders. For example, you may receive notifications about:

14. Message and Data Rates May Apply
You acknowledge that you are responsible for any message, data, or other charges incurred from your wireless carrier (e.g., usage, subscription, etc.) due to using the Service. The Service may not be available on all wireless carriers. EMEROLDEN may add or remove any wireless carrier from the Service at any time without notice. Customers can opt out of the Service at any time (see details below). EMEROLDEN is not responsible for any delays or errors in messages. We strive to be accurate and process orders on time.
